Most murder victims know there assailants. Wait... is that true? I know it's true for sexual abuse, rape, etc. But for murder?

It was in the apartment building on the main street two blocks from my street. The room mate or cousin did it. I think it was a stabbing.
At least one of my immediate neighbors owns a rifle with a scope that he takes hunting, so I'm pretty safe.

He's old and looks like he knows what he's doing. I'm not concerned anymore...now that I'm over the initial shock of seeing it as I was painting my bedroom in early May before I moved in. Then I was terrified.
