Three strikes in a row. (Or is it only per frame?)

If this was a guerilla bowl at a grocery store, then yes.

What's grosser than gross?

I'd answer "turned on" if we're talking about candlepin bowling. Nothing's sexier than a vixen who can pick up the half-worcester.
10-pin is a total turn-off though.

In a row...this was not candlepin. There were only two frames per turn, and when I got a strike I could only bowl that once. Until the end of the game when you get to roll again if you get a strike or a spare in the last frame, then you go three times. Which I did that game. I think my score was something over 140. Which I think is my best game ever.

This was 10-pin, but I talked about using the wood to folks who didn't have the faintest idea what I was talking about. Might've turned them on that I mentioned wood, though!

post of the day award has been decided in my eyes...
When you knock down only the #2 and #8 (or #3 and #9) pins.
Here.

Here I was thinking you were bowling with a frozen turkey. I take my vote back -- not impressed in the least, sorry.

Down with 10 pin!
I'm also fond of the idea of 'duck pin,' but I haven't ever played it.

But I was beating him by more than 2:1...doesn't that count for something?

I need to invent a drink called the half worcester. Favorite bowling alley is in Davis on the road next to redbones. candlepin with ashtrays on the end of the lanes.

"this was not candlepin"... I thought you said you were bowling.

Duckies are alright, but candlepin is far superior.
The only duck pin I played was at Collin's Bowladrome in Fuckin 'Rica. I don't know if they're all like this, but in duck pin bowling there is no wood (which is the main reason it is inferior) but at Collin's the mechanism is still manual. So there's the button that you hit to sweep the pins, a la candlepin, and a lever that you hold to not reset them, so that you will be left with no wood. Outstanding.
