Halloween weekend

There's been some candlepin talk on here lately, and I know there's a bunch of 603's on this board, so I'm gonna throw this out there... For the last 13 years or so, all my Billerica buddies and I have gone candlepin bowling in costume on Halloween weekend. This year, we're going to Leda Lanes in lovely Nashua, New Hampshire. Party begins at 6:30pm this Friday, October 27, in the Leda Lanes function room. There will be pulled pork and hot wings of unknown quality. Then, a few strings of candlepin, and finally back to my buddy Brian's house in Chelmsford for a yet-to-be-determined movie featuring lots of murder and teenage nudity. Let me know if you wanna come, and I can give you more details. Your presence will not be tolerated if you show up without a costume. Then, on Saturday, my band The Stoves are playing in Lowell at the Worthen. We go on around 11, so there's plenty of time to catch Lowell's home opener against the Providence College Friars beforehand.

  1. A very recently pregnant Natalie and I went to this a couple of years ago and had a great time. Best Halloween party I'd been to in a long time.
  2. You should meet at 6:03.
  3. It's too late for Alder, but otherwise we'd be going.
  4. You get extra props for a costume that impairs your bowling.
  5. Do _not_ restrict "body english" to width of lane.

Should we head west after Salem on Saturday, to Lowell, instead of south to the fair city?
