The Satanic power of the Bagley lamp

Since that damn thing came into the house, the phone stopped working. Coincidence?

Posted by tgl on 2004-08-25 20:08:23 +0000
Yes. Remember unplugging the phone to plug in the lamp?

Posted by frame609 on 2004-08-25 20:42:59 +0000
Oh, snap! Seriously, though, the damn thing will not recharge in any of the house's many outlets. I still think it's Satan.

Maybe it's your Led Zep Dvds, albums, and yr Hammer of the Gods book. Jimmy Page is one of the world's biggest fans of Alestiar (sp?) Crowley. Goddam satanic rock worshipper. I have to go back to searching through the complete studio recordings for backward masking now....

Terry G. and I listened to some records backwards once. Parliament, if memory serves. Terry, do you remember what else? I know that 'Another one bites the dust' says 'It's fun to smoke marijuana' backwards.

quick list comes to mind and all of these arent backward masking, some are just recorded and then presented outright to the listener backwards: [list:90c3749928]1.Public Enemy on Yo Bum Rush The Show (cant remember which track) (message is just Chuck D swearing cant remember many details 2.Prince on Purple Rain (Darling Nikki) "Hello How Are You? Im Fine Cuz the Lord is coming soon" 3.Led Zep "Stairway to Heaven" (My Sweet Satan) 4.Queen "Another One Bites The Dust" (Decide To smoke marijuana) 5.Beatles "Revolution # 9" (Turn Me On Dead Man) I've heard rumors of Pink Floyd and Blue Oyster Cult as well.. probably countless others...[/list:u:90c3749928] I'm sure there are others but I as well gave up this fascination around 8th or 9th grade....

Nobody on this board listens to Floyd.

Oh! Snap!

Posted by tgl on 2004-08-26 13:33:08 +0000
Ed does.

If you play "Cover the Tracks with Cash" off Garrison's "Be A Criminal" backwards, Ed clearly says "If Al Gore had just won his home state, no one would have been bitching and moaning about the Florida recount!"

How about "The House of Representatives DID Impeach Clinton over a BJ!!!"

Everything I say is a sdrawkcab message. Check Don Cheadle. Pink Floyd rules. Most underated, in the cannon, classic rock. "Piper At the Gates...", recorded at the same time as "Sgt. Pepper.." in the studio next door.

I stopped listening after they kicked out Syd Barrett. Seriously, JB the J and P. Chippy discussed Pink Floyd for about 2 hours last night. Ed, you really missed out.

I heard "Welcome to the Machine" driving home last night in between cd changes... better than the last time I heard it almost 6 years ago....

What does Pink Floyd say backwards?

Posted by dawnbixtler on 2004-08-26 19:10:47 +0000
What the hell does this have to do with the Bagley lamp? If we counted all the votes cast, Gore didn't have had to win his home state.

Posted by tgl on 2004-08-26 19:34:43 +0000
If Gore had the Bagley lamp, we wouldn't have had to kill over 12,000 Iraqi civilians.

None of this shit would have happened if Clinton had inhaled.

Posted by tgl on 2004-08-26 20:02:42 +0000
All the kids were _eating_ pot at Oxford back then. So, yeah, he never inhaled.

I think its something about the lamb of God or the lord's prayer... I read it in a book that I have no idea how to locate anymore.

Pink Floyd is named after a blues artist. All this slow moody instrumental stuff like Mogwai and what not Pink Floyd was doing 30 years ago. Their old albums are ominous and totally psychedelic. Every album has a gem. Great lyrics, extraordinarily memorable guitar solos. You show me a band that came from singing about unicorns and gnomes to having the second best selling album of all time and I'll reconsider.

Whatever, hippie.

I heard that Pink Floyd's first name was Megadeath.

I think Austin might have stood next to the lamp at some point last night.
