On NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday, there was a piece on Tommy Guerrero's Santana-esque noodling, but they also mentioned Tape Op. I am now old. Lorber's Collorary to Lorber's Theorem of Jumpedness: If you catch two or more "counter"-culture references in one NPR segment, then you yourself have jumped. I remembered to post this while making a hay-batch of Eye-talian cookies this evening. Yield: 7 dozen. All activities benefited from a healthy dose of Stone IPA.

L: After the funeral the other day I was hanging out with my neighbor's kids, who were like 12 and 15. The former was informed that me and all my friends used to skate in a satellite dish, and peppered me with questions: "did skaters have their own shoes?" "Who were the big pros?" I felt hopelessly old, but in an okay way.
