Fantastic Four: The Rise Of The Silver Surfer 06/15/07
Oh Yeah.
Hope its better than the first. The first one did have a few redeeming qualities, but was largely a disappointment.

I hope Ego the Living Planet puts in an appearance.

Odds are good they screw this up pretty bad.

Agreed.
However unlikely it may be good, though, as with the Hulk, I am glad that it is getting a second chance.

I fucking love all the Galactus stuff -- I'm hopeful that this will be good. The last one was better than the Hulk movie (which isn't saying much).

"Hulk" is a really great movie, especially stylistically. The acting is sort of wooden, but it fits the genre, IMO. It plays like a comic book on the screen should. Overall not as good as the Spiderman flicks, but better than X1, X3, the first FF, and Daredevil.

Im glad to hear there is someone else here that didn't hate The Hulk. I was excited to learn they were giving that franchise a second chance.

Daredevil was awful.
I liked X2 a little better than X3.
As far as the Hulk movie went, Nolte was great. Hard to evoke pathos from a CGI giant -- gimme Ferigno!

Anyone besides me see "The Punisher" (new version)? Worst modern-day Marvel Comics movie ever.
Although Daredevil wasn't so great, I thought Ben Affleck did a surprisingly good job. The director's cut is a cut above the original.
Nolte was a riotous nut-job, yeah.

Also have to say that I'm glad they old skooled it for The Thing in the FF flick. They could have easily done CGI...and while the costume isn't necessarily extremely convincing, at least he actually exists (fictionally speaking).
