I realise that I have to be the one to say it,but the two most famous songs about losing something somewhere are <i>"I lost my heart in San Francisco"</i> and <i>"Ich hab mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren"</i>.

Just sayin'.

I never heard of either of these. But I am familiar with "I left my wallet in <a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Segundo,_California>el segundo</a>."

Wow. How true it all rings! Just kidding...only parts. Most of the kibbutzniks I met were nice, and the disco had more than 10 records...we did dance a bit there. Might have lost my re-virginity, but my first time will always be remembered in Malden!

Yes, well, I am old. One's a Tony Bennett classic, and the other's a traditional German song. I also like Noel Coward, George Formby, drinking songs, and suspenders.
