I realise that I have to be the one to say it,but the two most famous songs about losing something somewhere are "I lost my heart in San Francisco" and "Ich hab mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren". Just sayin'.

I never heard of either of these. But I am familiar with "I left my wallet in el segundo."

Wow. How true it all rings! Just kidding...only parts. Most of the kibbutzniks I met were nice, and the disco had more than 10 records...we did dance a bit there. Might have lost my re-virginity, but my first time will always be remembered in Malden!

Yes, well, I am old. One's a Tony Bennett classic, and the other's a traditional German song. I also like Noel Coward, George Formby, drinking songs, and suspenders.
