Todd Drogy makes an appearance in the <a href="http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2007/01/21/on_the_wild_side/">Observer</a>. His chestnut: "The media give a very impoverished sense of the American soul."
An essay on plagiarism in the Feb. 2007 Harper's is excellent. I got excited reading this essay since it underscores connectivity and fagenism in the arts. I would think the same holds true for philosophy, which is why I find myself constantly trying to "cite" my ideas; as I've certainly never had an original one.

Seeing Bush on <i>60 Minutes</i> last Sunday and then again on the <i>NewsHour</i> last Monday was interesting in a couple ways: 1) the difference in competency between Jim Lehrer and the hairdo-as-interviewer on 60 minutes is astounding. 2) the continued incompetency of our erstwhile Commander-in-Chief is astounding.
