When I saw the purple one in Boston, he did a version of Zep's 'Whole Lotta Love' that promptly removed my head.
To say he has command of a guitar is an understatement.
I found it weird in his medley that there was Foo Fighters stuff - I guess he's returning the favor of Dave Grohl and co. covering 'Darling Nikki' a few years back...

not really - we all know that Dylan gets the songwriting credit, but Hendrix's version is the one burned into the popular culture's memory. I dont think an interpretation of Dylan's guitar work @ the Super Bowl was what Prince was after.
