Lung Capacity

So, after almost two months of not breathing well...starting my first day gutting a house in New Orleans...I have been diagnosed with asthma. Lame. Super lame. My lungs are clear, and my breathing capacity is excellent, but I can't stop coughing. Not a wheezer, but a cougher. Hey, at least I'm getting a work-out, right? They gave me inhalers for daily use and emergencies, like in NOLA and Israel. Hopefully it will get under control soon and it will stop feeling like someone is compressing my chest all the time...and tickling my lungs with a feather duster. The doc even had a word for how I described my echoing cough. Of course, it was in medical lingo and I can't remember what it was, but he was very excited to use it. So, as far as we know, I don't have mold in my lungs, but they didn't test me for that. Guess if I'm not dead by March 7 when I go back to get checked again then I'm in the clear.

Hope that works for you, M!

Me, too! This whole feeling breathing thing is for the birds. Guess that's what I get for being a good citizen of the world.
