I understand people's fear of change and technology. Trust me on this one. Only very recently did I start using email, and my mobile phone does not dial out. But to make such a fuss over keeping dated methods, seems quaint and futile. Organization and progress go hand in hand. I think everyone should try to standardize comments to each other. It saves everyone time in the long run.
The "luddites" comments were apt and quite funny.

Hey, The Edge, how is your friend, <a href="http://gawker.com/news/moby/moby-just-emailing-you-to-tell-you-he-will-never-email-you-again-200956.php">"The Moby"</a> doing without email for the year?

I don't think anyone has tried a threaded list expanded before.
Maybe you will get an award!
