There are like ten other plot lines from the books. 10D might know more.

I don't know much more. There were 8 or so books. The first film (excellent) was based on the first book. The second film (mediocre) was not based on any of the books. There is a rumor of Kevin Smith making a film of "Fletch Won" which is a play on words since it takes place first chronologically. Jason Lee was signed on to play Young Fletch off on his first assignment. There are also two Flynn books which are a spinoff for Inspector Flynn who was introduced in one of the Fletch books... I can't remember if I liked them. Who's making the Dirk Gently movie?
