Overheard @ The Hi-5 Show (02/19/2007) Bushnell Theater Hartford CT
"We Came All The Way From Chicago"
Wow - I thought Jackie and I were overtly enthusiastic about Maddie's favorite TV show. The parents we shared an elevator with took the cake though. A one hour musical kids show is probably not worth a plane ride from the midwest per se, but I s'pose it could be if you were staying with relatives or were on vacation or something.
Maddie was beside herself as she got to meet Kimmee, Jenn, et. al after the show. (Thanks Epoisses- no more making fun of yr name - I owe you one!)
I had to tell Maddie for weeks that "Shawn and Karla got new jobs" because they had left for broadway shows / greener pastures and the like so Maddie wouldn't be all freaked out to see some new faces.
Anyhoo, it was fun jumping around with the trike / juice box set!
The Bushnell is really nice, clean - comfy seats, spacious. I bet it would be a great venue to see a Symphonic Orchestra or a jazz ensemble.
