SKUNK!

I think I got Mila fairly clean, but my co-workers claim I have a significant "aura". It's definitely on my hands, faintly. Next time, I'll use gloves when washing the dog. My fleece jacket was probably a poor choice this morning as fleece tends to absorb all odors, and I was wearing these shoes during the first --ineffectual-- cleaning.

we had a skunk (skunk(s)?) nestled under the porch for a while last year - it sucked.

Definitely still on my hands. Dosed my shoes in Febreeze™... not sure that did anything.

You need to soak them in salt water for 48 hours and then another 24 hour in skim milk before they're even close to palatable. I had skunk with a spicy mint sauce (similar to what one might do with mutton), and it was still very gamey...

I had lunch with tgl and can vouch for the aroma. People in the restaurant were looking around to see where the smell was coming from. We had to roll the windows down in the Miata.

You should never wear a fleece to a protest or a warzone...the teargas will stay with you, like skunk gas.
