If you're in the league, have yr. draft order set by midnight on Monday/Tuesday.

Already into my 2nd hour wasted on this...

HEY LISTEN MAYBE IT'S A WASTE OF TIME FOR YOU BUT FOR SOME OF US THIS IS THE ONLY CHANCE WE'VE GOT TO HAVE SOMETHING POSITIVE IN OUR LIVES, FOR ONCE!!!!!!!!!!
What's my scheme? Elevate lower ranked draftees? I'm not likely to get Santana, but if I choose Halladay as my top pitching prospect I stand a better shot of getting him, right?
Can't find information on the website about how the autodraft works.

The first round or two should be everyday position players -- you'll get more use out of 'em.

Right, but does that mean I should be looking at the 20-40 rated players, or the sleepers rated like 11,12,13?

I took a look at Yahoo!'s rankings and was perplexed -- Jose Reyes up that high? Yikes!
The first few rounds are full of players who do a bunch of stuff:
*Hit for power
*Hit for average
*Score runs
*Steal bases
*Walk a lot.
In theory, anyway, such players should be better values. Don't worry about other people's draft orders -- try and get the ten or so players who are the best first (Pujols, ARod, Vladdy, Soriano, Ryan Howard, Crawford, Berkman, Miguel Cabrera, etc.
etc.)
There's also a lot of relative weighing going on -- used to be that a good second baseman was worth more because of the lack of good ones. Now, though, there's a bunch of worthy candidates -- Utley, Cano, Dan Uggla, Brian Roberts, etc. etc.
Here.
Based on your Pre-Draft Rankings, and the Yahoo! Rankings, the highest ranked player that is available will be added to your roster if you have that position available. So if the highest ranked player available is a shortstop, and you already have a shortstop, Autopick will then look to see if the second highest rank player available will fit your roster. All starting positions are filled in before the bench positions are filled in.
Do we know our order in the draft?

It's going to be random, unless you guys would like me to pre-determine it.
Random to set the initial order, or random order every round? I'd expect the former, so let it be.
I picked about 30 players, don't think I did it properly. Assuming my first four picks are made, will I. Suzuki really be around in the fifth round?

The former.
Suzuki isn't going to make it to the third round -- might be worth your while to do some more.
