Upgrade? Downgrade?

So, I was browsing for cars, again, and found the one at the offensive dealership still for sale. They didn't list the price online, so I may have my brother-in-law or dad call to check it out. Also, the Volvo S40 I was originally interested is now listed for $11,500. Then, I saw a 1987 Volvo 240 listed for $1500 with lots of repairs done. It has cloth seats, no rust, 160K miles (mine came 14 years ago with 145K), no sunroof, manual windows, power locks, new stereo. It neeeds new shocks and struts and rear brake pads. I'm going to look at it tomorrow afternoon.

I think this guy is more of a Volvo snob. He said about the previous owner, "Some people just shouldn't own Volvos."
