When me and mom say Don Ho, we both stood in the autograph line afterwards. Her conversation with him went like this:

"Aloha!"

I have learned somthing humbling.

Nobody here has a clue who Don Ho is. Not even the Canadians I polled. I've sung Tiny Bubbles for everyone I know here, whilst miming ukelele-playing. Many, many blank looks.
