At this pace, we'll say he hits 74 HR and bats in 185. Whoah!
I heard a spec the other day that he hits 800+ HR at his current career rate. Fuck a bunch of Bonds!

re: Fuck a bunch of Bonds:
Bonds is out like Imus.

It is reassuring that Bonds may have the career HR record for about 10 years or so...

Huh?

Bonds will be kept out of the Hall of Fame - He is a pariah of baseball just like Imus is a pariah of radio and Imus's current remarks are now keeping him out of the industry.
Probably not the best of analogies, but I like saying "Out Like Imus"

Fucking Geddy Lee gets revenge in our own backyard.

I disagree.
Bonds will be a first ballot Hall of Famer (not that I'm rooting for the prick).
Imus could have a radio show tomorrow if he wanted one.
Bonds hasn't done anything generations of players before him would not have done. He's played the game the way it's been described to be played. (Bonds hasn't failed any drug testing, has he?)

I'm excited to see more than one player break the record in our lifetimes.

It's the era of tearing myths apart, and Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, et al are the casualties. It doesn't matter if previous generations would have done the same thing, they're golden. Bonds will get into the hall, but it will be with a snicker and a sneer.

Again:
"Probably not the best of analogies, but I like saying 'Out Like Imus'"
Clearly you guys don't like this.
Seeing as how it is not that important to me, I will refrain in the future from making these kinds of posts.
Out of the G18: Red Sox 7, Jays 3 thread like Imus,
