Marked Absent

So, it's been a while since I've written in to the board, and although I've been marginally following what's what, I haven't really. I don't really have much of an excused absence, other than I've been juggling multiple projects at work, trying to finish any of them before getting slammed with a new one, and not really being able to finish any, which is unbearably frustrating. Personally, I've moved past my month of feeling agitated, and am slowly getting back to it. I am trying to motivate to do interesting things, but my bank account just turned into $56 for the next two weeks...after paying bills and mortgage. Ugh. On the bright side, I'm finishing editing two videos I took over the winter and can't tell you how awesome that feels. Also, getting psyched about the art show in August, and already have people lining up to come see it! Anyway, back to editing. Miss y'all! PS There's a great art and craft show here in two weeks...you should come...and crash at my house!

Thanks, kiddoes. Will try harder to participate. Discovered on Friday night that I LOVE the movie making process. I shot a bunch of footage in Israel and NOLA last winter on my trips and have made two shorts for work from them. Once they're online I'll give you the links, but I have to say that it's given me this incredible sense of accomplishment. Not sure if I'll be able to supress the movie-making bug, but I'm not sure that I can shake it, either. With 15+ hours of footage of my grandparents, I may be able to make a documentary of their lives, but that might just have to be for practice. Any thoughts on a starter project would be great.

The sack of Rome in 1527?

I'm thinking something I could interview someone who was there. Then again, it might be funny to interview The Bob, since he still hasn't made the movie about the Sack of Rome in 1527 that I did all that research for; guess that's what he gets for firing me.

I could call it "The Sack of Miriam in 2001: A Personal Story."
