Endless summer of putt-putt

New Hampshire this weekend? We're driving up probably Friday night; golfing at two or three places in the mountains on Saturday, and maybe hitting one more course on the seacoast Sunday afternoon. Free lodging at Casa di chippy. Bring groceries for dinner-making. Anyone interested?

I can't come, but may I recommend the "Salute to the USA" course at Weirs Beach? We just hit that up last weekend.

I'll be bringing my 'A' game. Funspot is also up the road from Weirs Beach.

TOPSNUF! I used to ply pinball at Funspot and then go across the street and ride the gokarts up there...

I don't have the offical results (I missed the first course); but I'm fairly certain PChippy was the overall champion. Overall, everyone had an exceptional performance or moment. On Sunday, I went with my sons to Funspot, which is still a mecca for pinball aficionados, classic video game lovers and kids who want to win a lot of tickets. We played the classic mini-golf course in the rain. The course is notable for its re-creation of classic NH structures. My 16 Yr. Old son beat me by four strokes. Uggh!

The rest of us hoped to play one more round down on the seacoast on our way back from Casa di Chipman to Massachusetts, but it didn't quite work out that way. We went to the beach and played in the surf (some of us, anyway), then drove to the nearest putt-putt but decided to get a drink and a bite to eat first. By the time we finished eating, (and a few games of pool), a thunderstorm had moved in, followed by heavy rain. So we just drove home.
