2 roaches? that sounds like 3 inches of smoking pleasure to me! Light that shit up then you wont mind about the other stuff

Especially since the super insecticide I use in my garage killed them! Either that or the crazy heat we've had this summer...with no rain.

Rideside: where you write your own options.

More disgusting than any of those options was what was in my front yard last night when I got home. Mind you, it was still over 100 degrees at 6:45pm when I arrived. As I walked to the mailbox, I noticed a dead rabbit under one of the tulip poplars. Looked like it had been dead a day or two. My neighbor ladies saw me out there and I asked their advice on how to remove it and if they'd heard the pop the other night (I have my suspicions that it was shot with a be-be gun...others think someone tried to shoot a coyote who had the rabbit...either way, a shot was fired very close to my house, like less than 6 feet from it). They didn't hear the pop, but suggested I get a plastic bag and pick up the rabbit like a piece of dog poo. That didn't sit well with me, so I called my brother-in-law who suggested I get a shovel and chuck it over my back fence (to the middle school's land). I ended up doing a combo: plastic bag w/handles turned down so it stayed open; shovel to chuck the rabbit into the bag; tied the bag shut and put it into the garbage; wheeled the garbage to the street for pick-up tomorrow. The unfortunate things are this: decompsing fur all over my front yard; decomposing rabbit in my garbage bin; potential varmit in my neighborhood; potentially dangerous gun-toter in my neighborhood.

do you have an affectionate neighborhood cat?
maybe the feline was paying tribute to you...

There is a feral cat who likes to hang out at my house. Used to find it napping on Ovlov; no evidence of pawprints on Ubarsu, though.
Honestly, I prefer my tributes to be in cash or jewels.

My mom asked me how I disposed of the rabbit and I relayed the story. Then told her that I was slow-roasting rabbit osso bucco in my garbage can until tomorrow. Icky and funny.

About a year ago I was driving to work, heard a loud bump.
I then pulled into get coffee a few miles from the bump. When I got out of the car, I was greeted by seeing the front half of a rabbit and plenty of entrails firmly attached to my front license plate.
The facial expressions from other patrons in the parking lot before I saw the front of my car were interesting.
It took a big shopping bag, many wet naps and at least half of my coffee before I was somewhat back to normal again.

Woke up to a very active line of ants coming into my kitchen through the corner of the window (which I can't open), across the 2" of wall to the cabinet and straight for the 3rd shelf and the jar of honey. Needless to say, I ate something from my fridge instead of the usual chopped salad for breakfast. Now the kitchen smells like insecticide. Joy. I think things are looking for food since it's so insanely hot outside. Third day it's officially over 100 degrees here. Hooray for air conditioning and sweet tea on ice.

I just had an idea: Animal planet weekly show filmed @ Miriam's. :)

I thought about taking photos of the rabbit, but I really just wanted to be done with the whole thing. I should've thought harder about spraying the ants inside the house, too...not so nice to breathe that stuff.
