pamsterdam visiting new pamshire in august, a couple of days in boston too
Just in case anyone's interested...
I fly in on Friday the 10th and plan to spend the night in the Boston area (heading to Amherst for familial obligations on the 11th, then spending the following week in NH). As my flight departs on Monday the 20th, I plan to spend the night of the 19th in Boston as well.
And, um, sorry to have been absent from rideside for the past couple of months. My favorite uncle died - a year and a week after his sister. I officially hate the month of June.
So. Hey - today's my birthday. Happy birthday to me. Raise a glass an' all that. Woo.
These New England founders should be taken into a back alley and shot for their lack of ingeniuty, but I think they are all pretty dead already.

Lemme know if you have time to pencil me in, eh?
feel free to pelt me with soccer references until I roll up into a ball in the fetal position crying...
Yeah, take THAT!
happy belated b-day!
And belation isn't a crime, yo. On the contrary, it simply protracts my jubilation and intoxication! Whoo!
MC, I e-mailed you and the ladyfriend re: dinner.
I would love to see all y'all on Friday night, if I can. Epoisses has suggested the Model as a meeting point and watering hole, which suits me down to my toes.
DU - the Amherst trip is off, sorry! My brother decided he'd rather hang out with me than stand in a hot softball field all weekend.
See you soon!

(Pamsterdam, check yr. email -- I just hit you.)
Poo. Ah well, I know how it goes. Do you work in Boston? Maybe I could drop by yr work?
So far certain Springfield, MA financial institutions have not returned my several resume submissions...
thank god for books on tape, satellite radio and ipods...
Edit: Now that I think about it, you do have a hot wife and a the cutest daughter ever-- hence no suicide. Now it all makes sense to me...
Not that I don't feel for you. Driving takes more attention (and generates more stress) than other forms of commuting. I just don't think you're nuts.
OK, off to the airport (roughly 13 hours door-to-door; hell of a commute). TTFN.
I am "stuck" in a rut career wise - I have been putting stuff out for about a month, but no meaningful bites in my neck of the woods - part of the problem is lack of energy once I get home after being gone for 14 hours...
Heres to having excellent family and friends at least...
I actually spend quite a bit of time commuting-- between 45 minutes to an hour in one direction. But on my way to work this means 10 minutes walk, 10 minutes T, 20 minutes walk (through common and public garden), 20 minutes T (reading the gossip pages of the Metro). I quite enjoy it.
Du, anything I can do to help you with the job sitch, let me know.
In DU's car he can listen to whatever music he wants uninterupted, smell only what he wants to smell, and doesn't have to worry about weird people getting close to him. Or sneezing near him.
Yes, I've turned into Andrian Monk.
