Tim Wakefield

Tim Wakefield pitched for the win last night, giving him his 24th decision in 24 starts this season. Here's a nice little blog about how unique that is these days. Overall MLB, he's in a three way tie for third in wins, and a seven way tie for 18th in losses. (Beer Canyon is in a three way tie for third in losses, by the by)

which means, the bullpen doesn't give away many games, but the bats can't win them either. when was the last time ortiz got a hit that mattered?
