Just a thought: I wonder if the release of this album was a result of a controversy like the one someone posted a little while ago about MIA...
http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/44529-mia-confronts-the-haters

MIA:
"And I just find it a bit upsetting and kind of insulting that I can't have any ideas on my own because I'm a female or that people from undeveloped countries can't have ideas of their own unless it's backed up by someone who's blond-haired and blue-eyed."

PJ:
"In an interview around the same time, Harvey's American rival, Courtney Love, claimed that all of the songs on "To Bring You My Love" had been inspired by Albini. It was a popular rumor at the time, and Harvey laughed when I asked her about it."
