Revenant fiction

Just started listening to Stephen King's Cell audio cd narrated by Campbell Scott and I am quickly getting into "all things Zombie" once again.

Some of my favorite Zombie stuff across popular culture:
-Urban Dead (thanks Epoisses)
-Shaun Of the Dead
- That '28 days later' franchise
-Dawn Of The Dead

Eli Roth of Hostel and Grindhouse fake trailer fame is eventually adapting Cell into a film and it looks like it will be a lot of fun.

Now if you will excuse me, I need to go get a storage shed full of drinking water, semi automatic weapons, non perishable food items and barricade the hell out of it...

[lorbering till the end]Shit man, even the humans in Cell got a better reception from the Zombies than the DÜ did in this post. Sigh. FWIW, I am within a few chapters from completion and I have thouroughly enjoyed...[/lorbering till the end]

Don't call it a Lorber! I've been DÜing for years...

I finished Cell this morning. I actually kind of liked the interpretive ending which I will omit from this here post.

Proceed with ignoring / disdaining this thread. Thank you.

Same device he used in "The Mist" years ago.

I guess I profited by not reading that one.

"Skeleton Crew" is awesome. Check it out if you have the time/means.

I remember reading Word Processor Of The Gods so the book must've crossed my hands in high school or middle school. The protagonist could add and delete things from existence with the assistance of a weird word processor. Unfortunately, I seem to be having trouble remembering the other stories in this collection by reading their titles on the internet.

Apparently, a certain NYC Synagogue likes zombies (or at least the revenue zombie film ads produce for them...)
