Question:
If a GLib sings an '80s one hit wonder in her sub-basement closet on a gorgeous August day, will anyone be able to tell if she's on key?
Answer: No.

I heard a track, cant remember what it was, but it was on one of those 'sound of the '70's' things and it was definitely 70's B. Tyler, but my joke was obviously factually incorrect as Eclipse was circa 1982/1983. She had nodules removed from her throat and the resulting huskiness seems to be one of the factors that lit up her career.
Epoisses: did Blake Swarzenbach have nosules removed from his throat in Jawbreaker?
good stuff here.
This thread = most certainly hijacked.

Nodules, polyps, something.

You must provide corroboration to win a prize. Technically a two hit wonder.

Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where’s the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn’t there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and I turn and I dream of what I need
I need a hero
I'm holding out for at hero 'till the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero 'till the morning light
He’s gotta be sure
And it’s gotta be soon
And he’s gotta be larger than life
Larger than life
