Saw the Grant Gee (Radiohead: Meeting People Is Easy) directed <a href="{http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1097239/">'Joy Division'</a> documentary last night.
Peter Hook (or Hooky as most people in the doc refer to him as) is a great story teller.
Even John Peel played records at the wrong speed occasionally as seen / heard in this film. Don't know why that made me feel better, but it did.
It works well in tandem with 'Control', maybe the overlap is unecessary for a lot of folks, but I liked to see the real musicians talking about the events.
At Any rate, check this out...

I thought the doc was pretty good -- overlap makes the two films companion pieces. (And no Bono!)

'Control' and 'Joy Division' featuring no Bono = Win/Win.
And if the Edge is reading this, please do not respond.
