You think Lowe's got something to prove? Whether or not he gets resigned this year... he needs to play well to get Theo et al. to up their offers or he needs to play well to garner attention on the free agency market.

Wouldn't surprise me if Lowe didn't wind up back here next year- he's going to be asking for # 1 starter money, which he can get someplace else (where he's not the #3.)

FRee agents for 2005 don't look all that stunning, though- Matt Morris, Odalis Perez, Russ Ortiz, maybe.
