Thanks. It's an old habit. I went more jazz than punk when it was time. I think it was my way of rebelling.

Huh. I can totally see that, although jazz has absolutely never appealed to me. I think my Dad would've been relieved if I'd gone the jazz route... Mum seemed to think that punk involved peeing on things, so she was also a bit worried on that score.
In any case, I still get chills when I hear the old punk tracks... Sex Pistols being my "gateway drug" - Mark played them to me before he let me borrow any Cure or Smiths tapes. All I'd listened to previously was Beatles/Kinks/Who/Stones, so he reckoned I needed to hear the SPs before dabbling in any post-punk. Blew my mind. And Sham 69... Damn.
Dead Kennedys always make me think of Glenn Watt, the guitarist for our school's punk band, the Undeserved Spankings. One show he took his shirt off and I felt a funny tingle. So began chapter two of my life.
