Superbowl 42 = Pat vs. Packers

While I am obviously rooting for the Pats, it wouldn't bother me if Favre went out a champ Elway-style. I know the Pats will probably win, and I'm glad (especially after Green Bay's victory in '96 over NE). But I gotta say a Green Bay win here is... what's that?... wait, what day is it?... Ooops, my bad, I'll post this next week.

Now hold on there partner ... I think a Pats/Giants Super Bowl would be great TV as well.

Great TV with a Tiki Barber commentating. Bad football.

Bullshit... that Pats/Giants game was one of the highlight games of the regular season.

either game has plenty of story lines and would make for great football cinema. not to mention the thought of the NFL films guy talking up either game on the DVD collection. Green Bay - Brett Favre, wily old veteran leading the youngest team in the NFL in a return Superbowl engagement versus the team he beat for his only ring. Giants - Can Peyton's little brother take down Goliath in a return bout of what was almost certainly the game of the year. And is there any doubt that if the Giants & Pats meet in SB42, that NO team will EVER rest their starters in week 17? and of course, we all know the NE storylines.
