New adventures in canned food

Camping or Wendy's. Don't make me decide!

Look at what the Germans have done!

How much to ship to the states? Let's get a case and have a party.

Germans know food. I am consistently impressed with their products. Possibly due to my unhealthy obsession with vegetarian sausages. Mmm.

this can't be any good. how do you keep the bun from getting soggy in the can? or is this just the patties?

You clearly haven't spent enough time with this:

For 4 euros, they should be able to put anything in a can.

Nothing compliments a canned cheeseburger quite like this.

Now, where can I get collapsible plastic stemware?

Posted by tgl on 2008-01-29 19:25:48 +0000
I can feel the fur growing on my tongue already.

Mmmmmmm.

I bet these are better than you may expect.

The cheeseburger looks WAY more appetizing than the vegetarian options. Those all look a little like barf.

Try my favorite German food website.

The Tofu Rosso is heaven in risotto or pasta. Tastes like sundried tomatoes, strong pesto, and olive oil.

Wow! That stuff looks amazing! Do they ship? Wonder if they sell in TN.

Didn't realize it was a steamed burger. Even better.

I can't seem to find a US carrier of the Taifun line, and it seems like the company itself doesn't ship, but this website (entirely in German) does appear to ship to the US. Minimum order is 15 EUR, plus shipping. Hm. How complicated would it be for me to ship it to you, I wonder? I live upstairs from the Dutch equivalent of Trader Joe's...

White Castle steams, if memory serves.

Posted by tgl on 2008-02-01 18:47:39 +0000
That's not the only thing that steams at White Castle.

"He also felt that the overall quality was similar to a McDonalds cheeseburger, which is really saying something."

A+

I wish I had that photo of tgl passed out under a pile of 20 used White Castles handy... I know where it is at home, though.

Strange... I only remember passing out under an empty one liter of Bombay Sapphire.
