I found my new favorite internet radio station of all time this morning:
Classic Soul, slacker.com.
In the past hour they have played hard-core gems, including:
Why You Treat Me So Bad: Club Nouveau
Girlfriend: Bobby Brown
And to refresh your memory of Girlfriend:
Righteous!

I have a similar 'Soultown' station I frequent.
faves include:
Chi-Lites
Delfonics
Gladys Knight and the Pips
Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes (and Teddy Pendergrast, naturally)
Issac Hayes
Al Green
Ohio Players
Bar Kays
Curtis Mayfield
Otis Redding
Isley Brothers
Commodores
Aretha Franklin
Staple Singers
What are the group(s) that do 'Just My Imagination'(Running Away From Me)? 'Ooh Child, things are gonna get easier'?

I'm liking this station mostly because half of the songs are great, and half of the songs SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. I want all of these songs (like that Bobby Brown song, or the DeBarge song that was just on) on vinyl in order to rival Chippy's yodeling chickens (don't ask-- you don't want to know) at the Casa on occasion.
I'll have to try your Soultown sometime.

The Temptations and the Five Stairsteps, respectively.

That Bobby Brown chestnut was AMAZING. This has nothing to do with Bobby Brown. (Forgive me if I'm violating posting rules.) But I'm reading the Aeneid for class, which isn't funny, and came across this with kind of is:

The ending was hilarious-- especially the outfits. This rules.

That one was a winner, but I don't know if it beats this one:
(skip the bitch at the beginning, and go directly to the goods)

I now have "Rush Radio" and "Bread Radio" on pandora.com. It's not spectactular; the variety could be better, but I like the semi-randomness of it.

Glib, You are the new winner, my friend. I laughed my ass off! It's going to take me a few days for an appropriate reply. I've never seen anything quite so good.
