I've only just now read your tags. I am way too excited to be at work right now. Way too excited. Like, clapping my hands and bouncing on my ergonomic chair excited.

Oh.
Was this not a hint about the next immersion?
Fuck.

Sadly, it was not -- the new immersion starts next Monday, but it's not The Cure (who I am going to see next Monday).

Ohhh.
Well, enjoy - they put on such an amazing show, every damned time! I wish I could be there too, but then you'd have to bring earplugs...
At least I can focus on work now.

Last time I saw 'em was 1992, in Worcester, making the Cure the THIRD band I have seen after a fifteen-plus year hiatus:
1991: Sonic Youth
1991: Nine Inch Nails
1992: The Cure
2006: Bauhaus/ Nine Inch Nails
2006: Wooden Wand/Sonic Youth
2008: 65daysofstatic/The Cure
Whoa!

WOW. That's crazy!
I was at that '92 Worcester show. The light show totally blew my mind. And seriously, their guitar sound is just so utterly amazing & heartbreaking. Live, it's... gah. Enjoy.

Totally thought this was the next immersion.

Too long.

No such thing!
And besides, it's THE CURE. Come on.
Best band ever. Seriously. Ever.
