RIP Robert Rauschenberg

How come I'm finding out about <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/14/arts/design/14rauschenberg.html?ei=5087&em=&en=a1cc55ef21c48302&ex=1210996800&adxnnl=1&adxnnlx=1210835354-qB3TglKp0Dbt6m7e2URxWQ">this</a> 3 days after the fact, and I go to an art/design school? Must be 'cause I don't hang with the fine art crowd up here on the 10th floor.

Rauschenberg was never my favorite artist (too 'Pop'... or 'trashey'?) but his show at the Guggenheim in '97 was a monster.

What a great obit.

It is pretty tight. Lengthy and endearing.
I kinda regret not waiting in line for 2 hours for a $120 dollar Rauschenberg book to have him sign, but I was a 23 years old with $375 to my name, and it didn't seem like a good idea.

Find me on github.
