Been following this for a while now. You'd think that Colorado would be allowed to do what it wants (and voted on) but 2000 election showed us that the Supreme Court would probably intervene if it hurts Bush...

Scalia should support this, right? He's a big into states rights.
There is a certain childishness to the demonization of Thomas, Scalia and Rehnquist. However, they do open themselves up to criticism when they support states rights for social issues (that Texas anti-sodomy law) but not for legal issues (election policies, the recent Blakely case).

Maine currently does not have a winner-take-all electoral college allocation. What CO is proposing is a bit different. The proportional representation method is how we elect City Councilors and School Board members in Cambridge. [Insert your favorite lefty Cambridge out-of-touch with "regular" Americans screed here.]
