"Alex Chilton" is the best Big Star song.

This album's a bit hit-or-miss. First three songs are great, as are the last two, and "The Ledge". The rest is decent, but filler. I guess 6 great songs on one album is nothing to complain about though. I think "Can't Hardly Wait" is my favorite Replacements song.

Also, dyedon8, is Slim Dunlop here yet? I thought they recorded this one as a power trio, and Slim joined for the next album.

You're right -- it is a power trio. Slim's next.
