Ween thoughts?

Saturday I was in Knoxville with my dad and heard someone call my name. It was someone who used to work at one of my organizing areas at Harvard! I'd worked with her to get active in the union, and turns out she's now living in Knoxville with her man, working as an organizer in the Cumberland Plateau communities, and he fella's cousin is in Ween, which is playing in Nashville tonight. And she and I are going! I haven't paid much attention to them in the last 14 years; anyone have opinions on them? Is this the kind of show I should wear hip cowboy boots and a mini skirt to, or black shirt and jeans? Help!

My friend Mark once said that he felt bands should be "either good or bad, but never... funny." He hates Ween. In any case, I say cowboy boots & mini skirt. And post photos, that sounds like a cute outfit on you. I'm assuming you'll also wear something on your top-half? :o) Oh, and shave above the knee. I know it's tempting not to, but in a mini skirt you'll always be glad you did.

The going gets tough from the get-go, go, man, go, oh brother, not another motherfucker, gotta go now.

Good call on the shaving. I would wear a tank top...or appropriate t-shirt. Looks like I'm going for free to the show, and I'm not one to turn down free tickets to something, especially a new(ish) musical experience. That's why I wrote for the Performer for as long as I did! Will try to remember to bring my camera...and to check for a charge. The mini is orange, which makes everything fabulous!

Oh, right! Sadly the pics in the last two links didn't show on my screen. Will give a report tomorrow...albeit not as detailed as yours.

Truer words were never spoken...or sung. The show was great last night. Hope to have some pics up soon. Including the after-show pic of me with the bass player.
