drummers = top athletes

Apparently <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7518888.stm">rock drummers are fitter than soccer players</a>. Seeing as soccer players are arguably fitter than most other team-sport athletes... maybe I should take up drumming.

Clem Burke (the study's main subject) - in addition to being Blondie's drummer - has played with the Ramones as "Elvis Ramone". 90 minutes drumming with the Ramones, now that's gotta get your heart rate right up there!

Or you could just end up like keith moon and john bonham.

Not to discourage you from cardiovascular diversions, or anything.

Yeah, virtue - usually when I think of drummers' stamina, I think of their ability to drink/smoke me under the table. The last time I decided to go drink-for-drink with a drummer, I wound up lying on a concrete porch, randomly punching the air and shouting <i>"More! More!"</i> Not a pretty sight, I'm sure.

I think I'll stick to cheesy dance-aerobic DVDs.

This rules.

A LOT.

I have Ushinski to thank for several of my "best" (?) stories. Bad, bad man.

Although I think he's a bit like Samson - he lost some of his powers when he cut his hair & shaved the beard.

Find me on github.
