* Wire's performance overall, which was incredibly tight
* MF DU pogo'ing and scaring the young post-punk hipsters
* 12xU during the third encore (I saw you in a mag, kissing a man...)

Lowlights:

* The young post-punk hipsters "couple-dancing" (PS - Ew.)
* Santa Claus hip-checking TheFullCleveland (mean Santa!)

Thanks all for a wonderful night.

-got to (briefly re-welcome Pamsterdam back to her Boston digs
-It was a great show to go to where I felt a lot of folks where in my median age bracket (I went to a Q and Not U / Black Eyes / El Guapo show in Nashua NH 3 or 4 years ago and I was the oldest person there except for maybe a few band members and the owner of the place).
-I finally procured a copy of 154.
-Commiserated with others that have 'a job that slowly kills you'

I was at middlesex last night, and had to have a cocktail and a beer before it no longer felt like I was chaperoning a college mixer. Nights out are increasingly feeling like nostalgia trips!

The shindig was terrific - it was an unseasonably warm evening, so much use was made of the back porch, and it was a good turnout for a Thursday night.
