Cops v. bikes in NYC
If you haven't already seen it:
I'm outraged. The US has a ways to go in acceptance of bicycles as a fine mode of transport. We'll get there someday, but the actions of this cop sum up what I think of as most Americans' view of bicyclists.

read that this cop is a rookie. son of a retired NYPD detective who said "Hey sometimes ya gotta do what you gotta do to make an arrest". and he was a high school football offensive lineman. and his report said that the bicyclist rammed him deliberately and resisted arrest. although he made his report before the vid surfaced. what a fucking hero. FWIW, the biker is an army veteran.
