I proposed on my show last week people do that with the debates. Palin is better synched to music. Does 'basket of chips' imply a spin of Gene and Dean Ween's "Pollo Asado"? God, I hope so.

Loved it. 2 hours of heaven. I especially liked a couple of the new tunes, which tickled me - I tend to be an old fart who bitches about how music ain't the same as it used to be. Friendly Fires & Escape Mechanism. Should I bother with the full albums? Thanks for the Rodan, do8. Pity about Slint... I was looking forward to freaking out my neighbors during the I MISS YOU part.

Escape Mechanism was largely Lynchian -- all soundscape stuff. I think I played representative cuts from both bands. And thanks for the call.

I think that's the only one I didn't stick a quarter into, so I can't compare notes with you. I probably would have decided that the machine was wrong, and needed a do-over. This lady did give me a good fortune, I'll have to find and post...
