Pome-based zymurgy
G Lib and I were up at my friend's apple farm this weekend. Picked up five gallons of unpasteurized, unpreserved goodness. I also asked him whether he still sells in bulk to people who want (say) a whole barrel of the stuff, for fermentational purposes, and he told me that they sell 55-gallon drums of fresh-pressed for about $130.
Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
