Oh yeah - that's right - I forgot about that. That was pre- Dunkin Donuts Raechel Ray - she had a travel show on food network I was watching where she went record shopping in I think Austin TX and had Shellac, Cheap Trick tucked under her arm while being assisted by a clerk wearing 'A Love Supreme' T-shirt. The more recent version of Ray holds no interest for me.

I'm not one to bemoan people's success and she didnt physically change (at least not that I'm aware of), it's just overexposure and a change of my mind I guess... By the 3 millionth time you have heard the phrase "yummo" or "EVOO" I think whatever may have once been has long passed.

Aha. The "Extras" effect. Yeah... absence does make the heart grow fonder. I have to admit to only exposing myself to Craig Ferguson intermittently, and via YouTube. That way I can still belly-laugh every time he dresses up as Angela Lansbury and shrieks, "HAS THERE BEEN A MURDER???"

OK, I wasn't imagining that above comment. Apparently, Ray is pretty involved w/ the indie rock scene in Austin TX. Still glad I don't have to see one of her DD commercials every millionth of a second, though.
