I was walking across the Common yesterday on my way back to work from my doctor's appointment, and at Park Street T someone had set up a large, fairly handsomely made (and I think homemade) sign saying "PALIN 2012!"

This makes me hyperventilate.
I feel lightheaded.

I'd think most Democrats would appreciate Palin running again in 2012.

I don't have enough faith in my fellow Americans to find the idea anything other than terrifying.
I know, I'm a cynic. Who knew?

I she does run, I definitely have a fear of it turning into a "Bob Roberts" type of thing. Scary movie!

Would that mean she would start a recording career? That could be some of the most interesting / terrifying 'outsider' music ever created.
Shaggs, Wesley Willis / Daniel Johnston / Jandek / Roky Erickson: Lookout!
that recording would be destined for the cutout bin. they could put a dotted line on the back of the packaging to make it easier for retailers. (er... if people still bought recordings at music stores)

On that topic, here's a tune sung by Question 1's own Carla Howell. Here's hoping for lots more where this came from!
(not sure if she's the creative genius behind the video, as well)

She has a very strong appeal with ~20% of the voting public. If Fred Barnes, Bill Kristol, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly want to ride that wagon (and you know they do...), then the GOP does so at it's peril.
