Boston ASAP!
thanks to the suddenly cheap airfare, my stressed out and culture-shocked ass has a 99% chance of crash-landing in boston either this weekend (late 6 nov. - early 11 nov.) or next weekend (late 13 nov. - early 18 nov.) for some much needed decompression in a place where people aren't so freaking crazy (er, i mean, are crazy in ways to which i'm more accustomed).
problem is, with school and airfare being equal, i can't decide which flight pair to book.
so...is there anything special/interesting/particularly crazy and awesome going on between either of those thursday/tuesday pairs that i just shouldn't miss? [pamsterdam: unfortunately with all my classes on wednesdays, i can't karaoke party this time - curses!] any other special guests going to be in town either one [ahem do8, perhaps]?
and do i need to pack my snowboots yet? :)
I'm out of town November 7-9 (Friday-Sunday) and 15 (Saturday). Apart from that, I'll be around and available for a certain level of debauchery. :o)
[there's also something about maybe having tickets to the opera on the 22nd - bought them, gave them to someone else as a gift, not sure if i get to be the +1 on that at this point; having paid what i did for them, i feel like i should probably go if i have the option :P - but that may not be relevant.]
what's the NYE week show scene looking like so far, do you know? i keep picturing my night including the campaign at great scott followed by a wadsworth afterparty, then remembering--wait--no more wadsworth porch....
but yeah. we're still on for karaoke on december 30th (oooh, that means i'll be at karaoke when the stroke of midnight makes it my birthday - awesome!), and we will rock it. :)
There *will* be fun. And we *will* celebrate your birthday, goat-girl. :o)
And as for the fly out, fly back, fly out again thing... where's your sense of adventure? Sleep is for the weak!
cue the pointer sisters: "i'm so excited..."
this gives me:
a thursday night
a whole friday
a whole saturday
a whole sunday
a whole monday
a tuesday morning
what do i do with them? :)
