I will have to play my JHE BBC Sessions (I think Hendrix was one of the first to do a Peel session, although I dont think they were called 'Peel Sessions' when he did them, even though John Peel did work @ BBC at the time of the appearance) this weekend on my way to Merrimack / White Trashua.
'Goin' South' and the 'Radio One' jingle always caught my attention...

If you've ever heard Rykodisc's "Radio One", it's an expanded version of that. I do know that "Radio One" is phenomenal, so I can only imagine that this is phenomenal+.
there are some great blues tracks on the BBC cd like "Nuthin but a hound dog" always one of my favorite drummers. great name too. boo hoo

Also: I know we are supposed to be respecting Mitch Mitchell in this here thread, but that BBC thing has a recording session of Stevie Wonder (drums) jamming with Hendrix doing Wonder's I Was Made To Love Her.
I cant reccomend the BBC set enough. It helped me drywall baby Katie's bedroom...
