Hello,
You may or may not care or know, but I'm performing some of my spoken word work tonight at Mass Art.
The really cool thing about this is that I'm performing in this gigantic speaker made of found objects and installed in the main gallery there. Juan Angel Chávez created the speaker piece.
Comprised out of found material seen everyday, such as old billboard signs, wood panel siding and traffic cones, the large-scale speaker sculpture will turn the gallery into a laboratory for sound (their words, not mine).
The show starts around 6-ish and it's open mic for the first hour, then the featured artists: Dave Tree, Iann Robinson, Clay N. Ferno, and myself. I should be on sometime between 7:30 and 8:00.
AND IT'S FREE AND ALL AGES, so come one down.
Defending The Faith,
Duncan
