Black Friday

Sometimes when I drink too much I can't sleep. I couldn't sleep this morning so I went to Walmart to check out their $300 laptops. What a nightmare that was. My laptop has a new trick. It doesn't let me type or use my touchpad if I unplug UPS printers, zip drives etc.. The weird thing is that I don;t see a remove UPS icon anymore on my toolbar. I can't figure out how to remove the UPS items manually. My keyboard finally came back on after I unplugged the computer from the wall. Now electricity is out to get me. WTF I'm sure it will happen again though so any advise is helpful.

Do you mean USB? My computer at work freezes up occasionally if I have something plugged into one of the USB ports in the front. No problem if I use one in the back. If your problem is anything like mine was, it's probably a hardware issue, and there's probably isn't a real fix for it. But, you might be able to "fix" it just by using a different USB cable, or by plugging it into a different port (if your laptop has more than one).

I guess I did mean USB. The UPS is the uninterruptable power source. For some odd reason I was thinking they were the same thing. I don't know I'll prolly just buy another computer. Thus me being at Walmart at 7 in the morning.

I would rather pay $100 more just to not have to wait in line with all those freaks. I did get a little caught up in it though. I felt like I was going to pick up the holy grail in aisle 10. I couldn't find a parking spot and I almost flipped out and started driving really fast. good thing it didn't turn out to be BLACK FRIDAY DAY DAY DAY DAY my laptop blows
