I had at least 2 beers immediately after parking the car; I recall bottles of some sort. And since I needed to disrobe (!) at Security to my shorts and t-shirt (tgl was nice enough to sign up for a Credit Card, I think, to get me a free winter hat) I remember having 2 or 3 beers to keep warm.

I only started drinking beer in 2000, when I moved to Amsterdam. So - 8 years, 4 months, minus the year or so I didn't drink at all (best diet trick in the book), so 7 years, 4 months (84 months). Still prefer liquor (I hardly know her!) and wine, and spent another few recent years drinking mainly wine & cider (the hard stuff, natch), so let's say an average of 3 pints a week or a gallon and a half a month... 126 gallons. Huh.
