Sister and I just finished season 4, and are going to start with season 5 tonight.
Sweet!

What was up w/ Cheech and the Caviar sandwich? Weird.

Conspicuous consumption as humor, or vice versa.

Binges = rad, but watching once a week is great.

Aw, DU... even all the way over in Allston I could almost hear your heart beating a little faster when she came onscreen.
By the same token, you may literally have heard me squeal when Sayid leapt over that breakfast nook.

Time apparently waits for no man but Richard Alpert. Double Weird.

MONSTER!

I'm gonna go out on a (severed) limb and say that season 5 is some of the goriest shit yet. Eli Roth on the payroll now or something?

I love how the show is so convoluted and unclear that they now put descriptions on the bottom, like subtitles, so the writers can tell viewers what's happening, instead of writing good story.
Shit is insane!
Posted by Rory_Stark on 2009-02-12 22:56:47 +0000
They only do that with the repeats that are on before the new episode.
Phish sux.

arm: holy crap. (i was so in the middle of eating some very tasty thai curry when that happened, too...now i know better.)
on the other hand, young rousseau is so *cute*! (if somewhat insane?)

i've noticed that a lot of the subtitles cover things that happened seasons upon seasons ago - probably to get newer viewers up to speed.
you know, for those weirdos who *don't* sit down and all-out binge to get caught up. ;)

where am I in time? "We are either in the past or the future." What an a hole.

Hey, I'm not the writer admitting I can't write. Lots of laughs.

A+ you two, A+

I took that more as a "Hey, viewers! You're morons! At least we're assuming you can *read*, even if we figure you can't follow a moderately complex television program." rather than an admission/indication of lack of skill on the writers' part.
Phish still sux.

You mean to tell me they're actually explaining the show in subtitles? As if what's happening in the show is akin to a foreign language?
Oops, just read Rory's post. Still, kind of weird.
Fee's an awesome tune, that's all I know.

Don't worry - no spoilers.
Arguably the best season of Lost so far.
Many elements seem to be coming together.
Love the alteration to the end title sequence.
to quote Det. Lester Freamon from another equally awesome show The Wire: "We're Building Something Here, and All The Pieces Matter."
